Sometimes it takes leaving the “good old USA” to discover excellent service and professionalism. The red-eye from Chicago to Dublin on Aer Lingus was a pleasant travel experience.
Attendants were all sharp looking in snappy green, clean and pressed uniforms. All of the attendants had a uniform look from head to toe.
Attitude: the Irish attendants were quick witted, polite yet no-nonsense. (This is my plane and you will behave!)
They work hard! We were all kept fed, watered, in some cases liquored up with effeciency and on schedule.
They were always around and interacted with people.
Only downside was that the lights were kept on throughout most of the flight.
This is not to say that all US flights do not have hard working professionals, however, these attendants stood out and there was a noticeable difference.

It would have been tough to get there without your whistle, MissFish, so good there was a reasonable person to get it through the line!
