Making good time this morning. Stopping for lunch just west of Ventry, Miss Fish is soaking her feet in a cool estuary. Weather is still phenomenal, and the wildflowers are finally blooming.
Went to O’Flaherty’s in Dingle last night; we got to listen to a fine trad session and guzzle some Guinness. As we were sitting and enjoying the tunes, a familiar woman came up with a quizzical expression and asked in an unexpected American accent, “Hey! Aren’t you guys from Lark Camp? I remember you from Shay Black’s singing session!” It truly is a small world after all. A lovely night’s chat and a pint or two later, we found ourselves back at the Archway, packing our gear for today’s trek.

Thank you, Western Slope Head. Once I got past the hurdle of retrieving the geo data, and storing it in a table, the Google API made it easy from there. Once I get home, I’ll add a bit of code that calculates the average speed between points.
