Much needed rest at Imeall na Mara b&b is done. Time to head out for a nice short day. Tomorrow, Mount Brandon.

Have you pointed out to the locals that the names of the locations you’ve been visiting are a little on the strange side? I’m used to towns names like Rifle, Silt, Basalt… Stuff like that. Maybe you could make their lives a little easier with a simplification suggestion or two. Let me know how that goes.
They take their names very seriously here. A suggestion like that is asking for a whollop. The Irish government tried to change Dingle’s name to An Daingean tomake it “more Irish” and resulting hornets nest made for some interesting politics. http://dinglename.com.
