Hanging out in the hostel in Tralee watching the British Prime Ministerial debates. There’s more meat to these debates than the US Presidential debates, but it’s still a popularity contest amongst politicians who only have their own interests at heart. Nick Clegg is an interesting fellow, but his vague anti-Americanism, is worrisome. David Cameron kinda sounds like a sane John McCain with creepy, isolationist, anti-EU, rightwing rhetoric, and Gordon Brown is coming from a scandal-ridden administration, and was at the helm for the economic collapse.
